IT Training Scotland Article Guidelines

Uncategorized No Comments »

To have an article published on IT Training Scotland it must adhere to the following guidelines.  We need to have these guidelines to make sure IT Training Scotland remains a great resource for people interested in attending your training courses.

  1. Must be an original article.  We can only accept articles that do not appear anywhere else on the internet.  If your article is found elsewhere it will not be published.
  2. Must be informative and useful to the reader.  Try using your own expertise to bring tips and advice to anyone reading the article.
  3. Must not be a sales pitch.  Biased articles containing blatant self promotion or derogatory statements about other training providers will be declined from being published.
  4. Must be written in proper English.
  5. Must be about any specific training course that you the provider can deliver.
  6. Must be a minimum of 750 words in length.

Advice & Tips

Article Length – We have a minimum of 750 words per article but if you wish to write more on a specific course you are encouraged to do so.  The advantage to writing longer articles is that you will get more visitors from the search engines.  The more visitors your articles receive, the more business you will generate.

Give a good reader experience – Our readers are intelligent human beings and they can (and will) quickly notice whether an article is a biased sales pitch or an informative, useful piece of writing.  From our experience, the more useful the article is for the reader, the higher the chances are of them making contact with you.

Write more articles – You will see even better results if you post multiple unique and original articles on the site.  The more articles you have published, the more interest you will generate for your training company.

Contact details – The more ways a reader of this site has to contact you the better.  Make sure you send us your preferred contact details.  Your name, company and telephone number will be displayed at the bottom of each article.  We also require an email address from you so we can directly send information to you when the reader uses the contact form.  Also found at the bottom of every article you write.

You can send your articles to article@ittrainingscotland.co.uk or use the form below.

If you have any further questions please get in touch either by calling 07817 660 971.  Or by sending an email from our contact page.
