Scottish System Has Been Overhauled

With there being a great difference in the way education is designed and presented in Scotland compared to England & Wales and NI.   It has long been the case that standards are higher and this is borne out by the very good exam results and the Scottish Universities are very popular.   The educational provision has been improved further – between 2013 and 2016 three new qualificatin levels were introduced in the form of Natinals, Highers and Advanced and for all of these there are to up online educational resources for anyone to tap into.   For parents this is a relief if their child needs that little bit of help.  As it is children are assessed throughout their school life with carefully defined levels within the Scottish education scheme.  Early – pre school &P1, First – to the end of P4;  Second – to the end of P7; Third and Fourth – S1 o S13 and Senior phgase – S4 to S6, college and onwards.    The online resources to help students at every level are available for the parent who feels their child could benefit from a little extra boost.
